Jimbo

Monday – Saturday 3 pm – 7 pm

Jimbo is a veteran of the Central Oregon radio airwaves.   “It’s great to be back on the radio on Rock & Roll’s Greatest Hits 105.7 KQAK!”  He began his career in the Portland market, working for KAAR-AM, KUIK-AM, KMJK-FM, and KUPL-FM.  After moving to Bend he became a familiar voice on KSJJ-FM, and later KRCO-AM and LITE 95.1.

Jimbo is a huge music fan and a huge sports geek!  He has a tryout for a professional baseball team as a player back in high school and also auditioned for arena announcing for both football and hockey broadcasts.  He was a longtime play-by-play voice on COTV’s high school sports coverage in Central Oregon.

Jim and his wife Lisa have been married since 1990, have a daughter and three grandchildren, and reside in Bend.
