The Sisters Rodeo Queen tryouts will be held at the Sisters Rodeo arena on Sunday, September 7th, 2025. Contestants are expected to arrive by 7:30 a.m, and horsemanship will begin at 8:00 a.m. Interviews will start at 10:00 a.m. or sooner, if possible. The public is invited to attend at 11 a.m to watch speeches and crowning – light refreshments will be served.
The tryouts are open to young women who are Oregon residents, as well as aged 18 through 25 as of June 1st of the year they are trying out. Entrants will be judged on horsemanship, speech, personality/interviews, and appearance.
The girl chosen as Queen will receive a silver buckle, a wardrobe, and will be awarded the Sally Leavitt Queen Scholarship of $2500 for her continued education. She will represent the Sisters Rodeo Association at rodeos throughout the state and will be hostess to other courts during our 86th Annual Sisters Rodeo.
