AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Seeks Volunteers in Central Oregon

The AARP Foundation Tax-A program is recruiting volunteers to provide free tax assistance older adults with low to moderate income in Central Oregon. In 2025, the program served over 2,300 individuals in Deschutes and Jefferson Counties, returning nearly $23 million in tax refunds to local residents. Volunteer roles include Tax Preparers, Clientators, and Technology Assistants. Training is provided in January, with flexible scheduling for the February–April tax season.
