The City of Madras announced five finalists in the recruitment process for the City’s next Chief of Police.
Following a comprehensive recruitment and evaluation process led by an external consultant, GMP Consultants, the Madras City Council has authorized the advancement of the following candidates to the final stage of the selection process:
- Jamie Carrico
- Jeffrey Lee
- William Cutshall
- Jausiah Jacobsen
- James Macfarlane

Interviews will take place on January 6, 2026, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at Madras City Hall, located at 125 SW E Street, Madras, OR 97741.
In accordance with Oregon Public Meetings Law, interviews will be conducted in executive session and are closed to the public. The interview process will include multiple panels involving City leadership and public safety partners. Following the interviews, the City Council will deliberate and determine next steps in the selection process.
