One of Central Oregon’s favorite fundraisers, Cork & Barrel offers three days of food and wine events to benefit KIDS Center, the Central Oregon nonprofit working to end child abuse. Cork & Barrel nets approximately 20% of KIDS Center’s annual budget to help support no-cost child abuse evaluations, family advocacy and healing therapy for hundreds of Central Oregon children and families impacted by abuse.

This year’s Cork & Barrel features wineries from the Willamette Valley and Columbia Gorge. More than 20 wineries are participating, including: Alexana Winery, Amaterra Kitchen & Social Club, Domaine Serene Vineyards & Winery, The Four Graces, Hawkins Cellars, Laurel Ridge Vineyard & Winery, L’Angolo Estate, McCollum Heritage 91, Penner-Ash Wine Cellars, Ponzi Vineyards, Prince Hill Vineyards, PROJECT M Wines, Purple Hands Winery, Ruby Vineyard, Sokol Blosser Winery, Soléna Estate, Stoller Wine Bar | Bend, The Pines 1852, Toil Oregon Winery, Van Duzer Vineyards and Willamette Valley Vineyards.

Cork & Barrel kicks off Thursday, July 17, 2025 with two Winemaker Dinners. Sokol Blosser Winery will be featured at Jackalope Grill, and Prince Hill Vineyards (with their parent company Silver Oak Cellars) will be featured at Tetherow.

Close to 600 guests are expected at Cork & Barrel’s big wine tasting party, Sip, on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 4:30-7:30 pm. Sip is held outdoors, under the tent on the athletic field at Central Oregon Community College in Bend. A $125 ticket covers two tastes from all 21 wineries, along with tastes of locally-crafted beer, cider and spirits from Avid Cider Co., Bend Cider, Broken Top Whiskey, Cascade Lakes Brewing Company, Tuesday Cocktail Company, Sunriver Brewing Co. and Wild Roots Spirits, as well as non-alcoholic beverages from Bigfoot Beverages. Also included in the ticket: small bites from BrownBag Popcorn Company, Bleu Bite Catering, Chow, The Dominican, Fixa Foods, Heartbeets Kitchen, Luce’s Bakehouse, Pacific Perks, and Roam.

At Sip, guests can browse the silent auction, enjoy live local jazz, and enter raffle drawings with $1000 cash prizes. This year, Sip is launching a third raffle drawing called “Bubbles & Bling,” which includes a glass of bubbly from AniChe Cellars and a chance to win a loose 1.64 carat diamond. Sip tickets are available now online and can also be purchased at the door.

Cork & Barrel’s gala event, Grand Cru, takes place Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 4:30-9:30 pm. Grand Cru opens with winetasting at the Winemakers' Reception, with hors d’oeuvres by Zydeco. The evening continues with a multi-course dinner by Franco Console, Executive Chef of Ashland Springs Hotel and The Neuman Hotel Group. Willamette Valley Vineyards, Stoller Wine Bar Bend, Domaine Serene Vineyard & Winery, Penner-Ash Wine Cellars will provide wine pairings for dinner, and Sunriver Brewing Company will offer beer pairings. Philanthropy is also on the menu. During dinner, guests can bid in the exciting Live Auction and raise their paddle to support life-changing services for local children and families.

Grand Cru tickets are available online. To reserve a full table, contact Ginger Theis-Stevens at gtstevens@kidscenter.org.
