CASA of Central Oregon will host its 6th Annual Casablanca Gala on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Bend. This masquerade-themed evening raises critical funds to support advocacy for children in foster care across Central Oregon.
Guests will enjoy champagne and passed appetizers, a hosted bar and a plated dinner, robust live and silent auctions, a local restaurant gift card raffle, a wine wall, and a dessert dash — all emceed by Central Oregon Daily News anchors. Auction packages include a five-night Sayulita vacation, a coastal retreat in Manzanita, Or, VIP passes to FairWell Festival, a wine country stay in Dundee Hills, and many more curated getaways and specialty items.
All proceeds from the evening support the recruitment and training of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), who advocate for children in foster care. Last year, 472 children spent time in foster care across Central Oregon. Today, nearly 60 of them still need a dedicated CASA by their side.
“This evening brings our community together for the powerful purpose of ensuring that every child in foster care has a dedicated advocate by their side,” said Heather Dion, Executive Director of CASA of Central Oregon. “As the need for CASA services continues to grow, community support is more important than ever, and we are excited to welcome guests back for another unforgettable night of generosity in support of our communities most vulnerable children.”
The event would not be possible without generous support from EC Electric, Convergint, Les Schwab Tires, Central Oregon Daily, The Bulletin, Bleu Bite Catering, and other community members.
Tickets, tables, and limited sponsorship opportunities are now available. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. Tickets to Casablanca can be purchased for $125 per person by visiting casaofcentraloregon.org/casablanca.
Community members who are unable to attend are encouraged to make a tax-deductible donation or learn more about volunteer opportunities at the event website.
