On August 8, 2023, at 1:35 am, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle crash in the 19000 block of Innes Market Road. Initial reports detailed a silver full sized pick-up off the road and a large amount of debris on the roadway.
Upon arrival deputies contacted the driver, later identified as an 18-year-old Bend man. The driver had minor injuries and declined needing or wanting medical attention. During the course of the investigation deputies established probable cause to believe the suspect was driving while intoxicated.
He was arrested and transported to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Adult Jail without incident.
