The FivePine Lodge Happy Girls Sisters Run, is back and ready to empower women of all ages and fitness levels in the beautiful town of Sisters, Oregon, on October 28th, 2023. This year, the event introduces an exciting addition: the all-new 10K option, giving participants even more opportunities to experience the joy of running in this breathtaking setting.
Happy Girls Sisters is not just a race; it’s an experience that fosters bonding, self-discovery, and celebration of the strong and vibrant community of women. This annual event offers participants a chance to indulge in nature therapy and create lasting memories with women who share their passion for fitness and adventure.
Participants can choose from three race options: the all-women’s trail half marathon, the 5K road race, or the brand-new 10K road race. The half marathon takes runners through the enchanting single-track trails of the Deschutes National Forest, providing spectacular views of the Peterson Ridge Trail system. For those who prefer a road race, the 5K and 10K routes wind through the scenic downtown area of Sisters, showcasing the town’s charm and beauty.
One of the highlights of Happy Girls Sisters is the sense of community and support that permeates the event. Women of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities come together to inspire and motivate one another, creating an uplifting atmosphere of camaraderie.
In addition to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, Happy Girls Sisters is proud to support Sisters Parks and Rec, a local nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the recreational opportunities and preserving the natural beauty of Sisters, Oregon. A portion of each entry fee will be donated to this worthy cause, ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy the area’s outdoor spaces and facilities.
