A stolen trailer from a local RV dealership was recently recovered. According to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office:
DCSO was dispatched to the area of “Dirt World” regarding an open 911 call. Once deputies arrived, they were contacted by a female who advised she believed the trailer she was residing in was stolen. Deputies were escorted to the camp and the suspected stolen trailer and were able to determine the trailer was reported stolen from Blue Dog RV in November of 2022.
Deputies contacted a responsible party to respond and recover the stolen 2021 Wolf Pup travel trailer. Due to the mechanical condition of the trailer, the recovery was stalled until the trailer was made road worthy.
The following day deputies returned to the location with a mechanic and the responsible party to repair the trailer and recover it. Upon arrival it was determined unknown subjects had moved into the trailer and needed to be asked to vacate the trailer. The trailer was recovered without incident.
