Submissions for the SELCO Kids’ Mini PPP Art Contest are being accepted through the month of February. Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation (MBSEF) invites elementary school artists to express their creativity and get excited about one of Central Oregon’s most cherished local events. The winning design will be featured as the official artwork for the Kids’ Mini PPP and will be used on shirts and in other advertising. The winning artist will win a free entry into the Mini PPP for themselves and their team.

Presented by Sylvan Learning and organized by MBSEF as a fundraiser, the SELCO Kids’ Mini PPP is an annual team race for elementary school–aged children. The event will take place Sunday, May 17, at Seventh Mountain Resort. Design submissions should reflect the unique spirit of the Mini PPP, which stands for “Playful Peers Persevere.”

To be considered for the contest, designs MUST include the following information:
● SELCO Kids’ Mini PPP
● Bend, Oregon
● 2026
● “MBSEF” somewhere in the design.

Teachers are encouraged to consider a new lesson plan and accompanying video offered by MBSEF. The lesson, all the details related to the contest, as well as the event, can be found at pppbend.com/mini-ppp/.

Entries must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, and can be emailed to events@mbsef.org or mailed or hand-delivered to: Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation, 2765 NW Lolo Drive, Bend, OR 97703. All submissions that meet basic requirements will be considered by a selection committee made up of MBSEF coaches and staff. Registration to compete in the SELCO Kids’ Mini PPP will begin on March 1, 2026.
