Cork & Barrel Masquerade Ball Takes Place October 11

masquerade683007

In ultra-casual Bend, Cork & Barrel’s Masquerade Ball offers a rare opportunity to dress up for a night of mystery and glamour. This year’s Masquerade Ball takes place Saturday, October 11 from 7-19 pm at the elegant Hanai Center, with shape-shifting cocktails, sweet and savory small bites, unique spaces to explore, and dancing with a live DJ. This Cork & Barrel event supports KIDS Center, the Central Oregon nonprofit working to end child abuse, and all proceeds help fund direct services for children and families.

Cocktails will feature spirits by Cascade Lakes Distillery. Wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and a signature mocktail will also be available. Guests can nibble on small bites and dainty desserts, including mini bundt cakes by Nothing Bundt Cakes. DJ Davy Rock It will bring the vinyl and keep the dance party going on Hanai’s spacious dance floor.

Guests are encouraged to dress up in cocktail attire or formal wear and wear a masquerade mask if they so choose. Guests can opt to lean into this year “Haunted Masquerade” theme with costumes that are glamorous (not gory). Prizes will be awarded for Best Mask, Best Dressed, and Most Dapper Couple.

At the event, guests can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win two round-trip tickets on Alaska Airlines to Hawaii, Belize, Costa Rica, or anywhere Alaska flies. The raffle drawing will take place at the ball. Tickets are still available for purchase. Tickets are $75 each and include two drinks and small bites.
