This engaging two-part series will highlight key historical figures and events that defined early Prineville and beyond. As a special feature, the series will conclude with a People

• Monroe Hodges – Prineville’s first surveyor
• Susannah Barnes – The first Euro-American woman settler in Crook County
• May Barney – Prineville’s first female mayor
• George Barnes – Prineville’s first lawyer
